ANNOUNCEMENT! The Perseus team, along with our parent company, Omni Consult have been sub-contracted by KBR to run a 3-year contract, delivering Security Awareness in Fragile Environments (SAFE) courses to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and their associated Government departments. The weekly training courses have begun, and are taking place at our training academy in Dunchurch, Warwickshire. To that end, we will not be running any CP/HECP Courses for the first half of 2016, but intend to bring them back online towards the end of this year. Perseus Risk Managements Level 3 CP Close Protection Course foucuses primarily on the skills and techniques required to work as a CPO in Executive Protection. The course also includes the FPOS-I module, which is delivered concurrently and qualifies successful candidates to then apply for an SIA license pending their criminal records check.
The course is delivered at our highly regarded training academy, centrally located in Dunchurch, Warwickshire and is a combination of classroom based lectures and exercises followed by expansive practical scenario training utilising our fantastic training facilities. As well as covering the standard modules as laid down by the SIA, our course is interwoven with our instructors vast operational and training experience, designed to ensure that each graduate will have a sound working understanding along with the skills and techniques required to hit the ground running on the Executive CP “Circuit.”
All successful graduates will then be loaded on to a central database, containing their performance report and CV which will be made available to prospective employers upon their request, and will be offered an interview with leading private security companies based in London.

First Aid Training
When applying for your licence you will be required to produce evidence that you have attained a recognised first aid award. You should present your valid first aid certificate to your training provider before you start your training. If you do not have a recognised first aid award you will need to get one in order to get your licence. This is in addition to the minimum 138 hours knowledge and practical skills training.
First aid awards recognised by the SIA are:
First Aid at Work – 4 day course (HSE approved)
First Person on Scene (FPOS) Intermediate Award – 30 hours (Edexcel / IHCD, which is the more expansive and appropriate course we deliver as part of the Level 3 CP Course.
